Experience impeccable handling and advanced technology onboard the all-new Princess V50 and V50-Open. Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and Italian design house, Pininfarina, have created the all-new hull, deck and canopy moulds to redefine one of the core models in the range.
The all-new V50 is installed with state-of-art technology to provide an ease of ownership which makes boating more accessible to new owners: an intuitive IPS system and joystick allows for easy piloting whilst fully integrated Volvo Penta assisted docking system assists with external factors such as wind, current and manoeuvring in crowded marinas. Additional technology includes premium audio from Naim, the new Garmin On-Deck smart boat system and an integrated remote connectivity solution that tracks, monitors and controls selected onboard systems from virtually anywhere via a smartphone app.
Her compact, yet highly efficient, twin Volvo Penta IPS600 or IPS650 engines can deliver a maximum speed of over 30 knots while ensuring increased fuel capacity to accommodate owner’s outdoor lifestyles with the possibility to travel further afield.
Retaining the same overall design integrity of the recognizable V-Class, the all-new Princess V50 is defined by the use of the finest materials and timbers available. Her new full-length hull window graphic integrates the aft air intake seen on the larger Princess yachts. The interior is elevated by the use of flowing shapes and forms design lines and textured contrasting fabrics from a new fabric collection.
Designed for outdoor living, V50 incorporates new cockpit and bathing platform arrangements with maximum levels of outdoor space seen on the larger vessels. Her open space incorporates practical access from both sides of the transom to cockpit and side decks and an elegant canopy for the comfortable shaded area for sunny days. The deck area, enclosed by patio doors, features a U-shaped dining area with an opposite sideboard concealing a TV on rise and fall mechanism. At the front – the wheelhouse with two perfectly positioned twin helm seats. For comfortable navigation, the single-pane windscreen was installed, while a large solid opening roof section with integrated glazing above offers the total flexibility of an open boating experience.
On the lower deck, the guests will enjoy a bright and modern open galley with moulded sink, two-zone ceramic hob, combination microwave/convection oven and full-height fridge/freezer. Opposite, a spacious U-shaped seating area, which can be replaced with a third two-berth cabin. Four guests can enjoy two beautifully appointed cabins filled with light from the full-length hull glazing. The full-beam master stateroom is situated amidship.
The V50 recently completed her initial sea trial and delivered impeccable performance, with sure-footed handling and a smooth ride. Design for year-round cruising, her flexible space and innovative design will maximize cruising onboard. She is raising the bar in what is possible in a 50-foot sports yacht.
The all-new Princess V50 will be on display at the Dusseldorf Boat Show from 22nd – 30th January 2022.
